Towards the Indonesian Independence Day celebration, the government through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (Kemenbudpar, Ind.) has withdrawn the Komodo National Park (KNP) as the finalist of the New Seven Wonders of Nature (N7WN) because of the non-transparent, unprofessional and inconsistency of the New Seven Wonders Foundation organizing committee towards the event.

The bridge that connects Tidung Besar and Tidung Kecil Islands is picturesque, but need extra care and courage to cross.

The island is one of the hundred islands of Thousand Islands propping up from the Java Sea. It is merely some 20 kilometers north of Jakarta, making it a popular getaway for city dwellers.

As days always start early for islanders, it must start early for its eager visitors as well. The only ferry that connects the island and the city departs at 7 a.m. once a day.

Pantai Ngurbloat or Ngurbloat beach has the smoothest sand in the world or as it is known by the locals of Tual as Pantai Pasir Panjang, located in Ngilngof village in the western part of Kei Kecil island. It is blanketed with sand beach sprawling 5 kilometers long, thousand of coconut trees are in parade along the shore, crystal clear blue sea water and also relatively calm wave so all these will make you want to stay as long as you can.
